In order to continue providing high-quality and safe food sources to consumers, on March 26, Bach Hoa Xanh signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Minh Phu Corporation - a leading enterprise with more than 30 years of experience in the field of seafood in Vietnam. The signing aims to bring shrimp lines that meet Japanese, US and EU export standards to be raised in an antibiotic-free and chemical-free environment distributed by Minh Phu in the Bach Hoa Xanh system.

"Currently, it is very difficult for consumers to distinguish between safe and high-quality shrimps and shrimps raised in chemical and antibiotic-laden environments. That's why we want to provide clean shrimp that are safe for the health of Vietnamese people," said Mr. Quang.

Minh Phu shrimp lines are caught from the group's own farming areas as well as from associated farmers, where the commitment to sustainable farming practices is made, with no use of antibiotics or chemicals harmful to consumers' health and the environment. Shrimp are quality controlled by the group's supply team 2 to 3 times before harvest.

Sharing about this, Mr. Pham Van Trong - CEO of Bach Hoa Xanh - said: "Bach Hoa Xanh is extremely impressed and highly appreciates the shrimp lines process at Minh Phu. In the past, we often thought that good products were for export, but Bach Hoa Xanh is doing the opposite. Now, domestic consumers will enjoy fresh, high-quality products that meet export standards in demanding markets such as Japan, the US and the EU.

With a chain of 1,700 supermarkets nationwide and a standardized process, Bach Hoa Xanh has enough capacity to receive shrimp from Minh Phu according to standards. After being picked up from the pond, live shrimp will be placed in ice-cold water to keep their hibernation state. helping the shrimp stay fresh and firm. Shrimp were immediately transferred to Bach Hoa Xanh's warehouse. From here, the shrimp will be distributed to supermarkets, and continuously stored on a tray with water and ice at a temperature of 0-4 degrees Celsius to ensure quality to customers.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Quang, Founder and CEO of Minh Phu Seafood Corporation, shared: "Minh Phu has previously focused primarily on the export market. Cooperating with a reputable and widespread chain like Bach Hoa Xanh is an opportunity for us to bring international standard shrimp to Vietnamese customers. We believe that this cooperation will help Minh Phu become closer to domestic consumers, similar to how we have conquered the international market."

According to Mr. Trong, before signing the shrimp distribution strategy with Minh Phu Corporation, Bach Hoa Xanh had already imported shrimp from this company. In the past 6 months, Bach Hoa Xanh has sold about 1,300 tons of Minh Phu's shrimp, with revenue reaching about VND 220 billion. In 2024, Bach Hoa Xanh aims to distribute about 3,000 tons of Minh Phu's shrimp, with an expected revenue of VND 500 billion.
