On 11 -12 December, Erajaya and Grandlucky's senior leaders from Indonesia visited MWG's headquarters. Erajaya is Indonesia's leading distribution and retail group and a strategic partner of The Gioi Di Dong in the joint venture Erablue, specializing in selling phones and electronics in this country. In Indonesia, the joint venture under Erajaya operates the Grandlucky chain, an omni-channel retail model offering various household products in areas ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 square meters. Until now, Grandlucky has nine stores operating in Indonesia, making it a focal point of discussion and experience sharing during the visit.

The Erajaya's team, represented by Mr. Budiarto Halim - the Chairman of the group, and executives from Grandlucky met with representatives from MWG, including the Chairman of the Board and Mr. Pham Van Trong - the CEO of Bach Hoa Xanh. As partners in a joint venture, Erajaya views MWG as a collaborator and a reliable partner for exchanging experiences and learning; especially positive signals from the Bach Hoa Xanh ("BHX") model were particularly emphasized recently. Despite consumer trends toward frugality due to economic challenges, the average revenue per BHX store has consistently improved from VND 1.3 billion in the early stages of 2023 to VND 1.7 billion in October 2023. The company's strategy focuses on increasing production and ensuring stable quality to transform fresh food into an attractive destination for BHX customers. As a result, the consumption of fresh products at BHX and the number of daily shoppers in the fourth quarter have continuously shown positive growth, nearly doubling compared to the beginning of the year.

During their visit, the Erajaya and Grandlucky's team spent a significant amount of time exploring Bach Hoa Xanh stores in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces, concentrating on understanding various store models, display methods, customer-oriented experiences, supply chains, and inventory management. Bach Hoa Xanh is honored to be praised for the agility and efficiency of the chain and affirmed that both sides had valuable insights for ongoing operational improvement and future solid development.

Established in 2015, Bach Hoa Xanh Trading Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of the MWG, operates a chain of minimart stores with approximately 1,700 points of sale concentrated in 25 provinces in the southern region. BHX is currently the leading minimart chain in revenue per store and ranks in the Top 3 retail chains for food and consumer goods in Vietnam in terms of the number of stores and total revenue.

PT Mitra Belanja Anda (MBA) is a joint venture between Erajaya's subsidiary, Erajaya Food & Nourishment (EFN), and PT Perjuangan Anak Muda (PAM) to operate the GrandLucky supermarket chain. MBA has established and operates nine GrandLucky supermarkets in Bali and Jakarta, focusing on high-quality local products.
