MWG Continues to Be Named Among the Top 20 Companies with the Best Sustainability Index Performance on Vietnam’s Stock Market in 2026

On July 20, the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) announced the constituent stocks of the Vietnam Sustainability Index (VNSI) for 2026. Mobile World Investment Corporation (HOSE: MWG) has once again been selected for inclusion in the index, recognizing the Company’s ongoing commitment to a long-term growth strategy anchored in sustainable development.
The VNSI is a sustainability index developed by HOSE in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the State Securities Commission of Vietnam since July 2017. Companies are selected based on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, reflecting their corporate governance capabilities, transparency and commitment to creating sustainable value for stakeholders. As ESG investing continues to gain momentum globally, the VNSI has become one of the key benchmarks for the investment community.
The VNSI reflects the growing trend of ESG-based sustainable investing and aims to establish sustainability benchmarks for listed companies, assist institutional and individual investors in identifying companies with strong sustainability characteristics, promote sustainable development across the economy, encourage the adoption of best practices in environmental, social, and governance management, and provide an additional investment tool that supports the long-term development of Vietnam’s capital market.
According to the constituent list published by HOSE, MWG has an index-calculated outstanding share volume of 1,468,423,529 shares, with a 75% free-float ratio. These indicators demonstrate a high level of market liquidity, enhancing the Company's representativeness and contribution to the index calculation.
MWG’s continued inclusion in the Top 20 VNSI reflects the Company's long-standing commitment to sustainable development. Over the years, MWG has consistently integrated ESG principles into its business strategy, corporate governance, and operations to drive long-term growth while creating lasting value for customers, shareholders, employees, and other stakeholders.
The Company has implemented numerous initiatives to advance sustainable growth. These include enhancing energy efficiency through IoT-based energy management systems deployed across the majority of its stores, expanding rooftop solar power systems at its operational centers, and partnering with V-Green to develop a nationwide electric vehicle charging network, contributing to Vietnam's green transition. At the same time, MWG continues to invest in human capital, foster a safe and inclusive workplace, carry out community-focused initiatives, and strengthen corporate governance through enhanced transparency, improved risk management systems, and proactive investor engagement.
Notably, in 2026, Bach Hoa XANH, a member of the MWG ecosystem, signed a sustainability-linked loan facility with HSBC Vietnam and BNP Paribas Vietnam. The financing is tied to clearly defined sustainability performance targets, demonstrating the integration of ESG objectives into the Company's financial strategy while reaffirming the confidence of leading international financial institutions in MWG's sustainable development commitment and governance capabilities.
In addition, MWG continues to enhance corporate transparency and disclosure quality through the publication of its Sustainability Report in accordance with the internationally recognized Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, while steadily advancing its ESG governance roadmap in line with global best practices. These efforts have contributed to MWG's continued recognition in prestigious domestic sustainability rankings and awards.

With the vision of becoming Southeast Asia’s leading retail, e-commerce and related services group by 2030, MWG will continue investing in innovation, enhancing customer experience, developing its people, and strengthening corporate governance capabilities. Through these efforts, the Company aims to further advance its ESG objectives and build a solid foundation for sustainable long-term growth.
