MWG Ranks Among Vietnam’s Top 7 Private Distribution And Retail Companies With The Largest Tax Contributions In 2026

According to data from Vietnam Largest Taxpayers 2026 (VNTAX 2026), Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) contributed more than VND 2 trillion to the State budget in 2025, placing it among the Top 7 private distribution and retail companies with the largest tax contributions in Vietnam in 2026.
Of the nearly VND 1 quadrillion contributed to the State budget by Vietnam’s 200 largest companies in 2025, seven leading private enterprises in the distribution and retail sector contributed a combined total of more than VND 6.8 trillion. This figure increased by approximately VND 1.1 trillion, equivalent to 19.4%, compared with the previous year. Among them, MWG contributed more than VND 2 trillion to the State budget, representing a 58.5% increase from 2024.
MWG’s contribution was recorded as the Group continued to expand its operations and improve business efficiency. In the first six months of 2026, MWG generated VND 95,305 billion in revenue, up 29.4% year-on-year, achieving 52% of its full-year revenue target. Dien May Xanh Investment Corporation (DMX) generated VND 65.1 trillion in revenue, up 31% year on year and achieving 53% of its annual target. Meanwhile, Bach Hoa Xanh recorded VND 28.3 trillion in revenue, up 25% year on year. In Q2 2026 alone, the chain’s revenue increased by more than 31%, while its two core categories fresh food and FMCG both maintained double-digit revenue growth.

These results indicate that MWG’s contribution to the State budget is driven not only by the expansion of its store network, but also by revenue scale, operational efficiency, and its ability to manage an increasingly extensive retail system. As the business continues to scale up, supply chain management, operational optimization, and standardized business practices have become increasingly important in sustaining growth and enhancing the company’s contribution to the broader economy.
Alongside its business operations, MWG has also been gradually integrating ESG considerations into its operations in recent years. The company has implemented initiatives to collect plastic bottles and recycle used toothbrushes, while participating in the “Green Tick of Responsibility” program to strengthen product quality control and contribute to food safety. In the area of sustainable finance, Bach Hoa Xanh signed a sustainable trade finance agreement with BNP Paribas Vietnam, linking the financing facility to targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and plastic waste.
With more than VND 2 trillion contributed to the State budget in 2025, alongside positive business growth in the first half of 2026, MWG continues to maintain its growth momentum while making tangible contributions to the economy. This provides a foundation for the company to further expand its operations, improve efficiency, and pursue sustainable long-term growth.
