The AVAKids Smile Fund continues its journey to bring smiles to children in Hanoi.

After successfully implementing the maxillofacial surgery program for children in Ho Chi Minh City, Son La, and Gia Lai, the AVAKids Smile Fund continues its mission to bring beautiful smiles to children in Hanoi. Join AVAKids on this journey!

On May 15, 2023, the AVAKids Smile Fund officially launched the maxillofacial surgery program for children at 108 Central Hospital (No. 1 Tran Hung Dao Street, Bach Dang Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi). This journey aims to successfully perform surgeries for 50 children from May 15, 2023, until the end of May 2023.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the program only conducted screening examinations for 32 children without holding an opening ceremony like in previous phases. This is a necessary measure to ensure the health of the children.

In addition, the hot weather poses challenges for transportation and the children’s health before the surgery. However, the medical team has made every effort to ensure that the surgeries are performed in the safest and shortest possible time.
The AVAKids Smile Fund was established to find back beautiful smiles and bring a brighter future for 550 children with facial deformities in 2022-2023.
