At the event, Bach Hoa XANH was honored to be officially authorized to manage the “Responsible Green Tick” label by the Department.
This milestone marks a significant step forward in the journey toward building a transparent, safe, and community-oriented supply chain. Being entrusted with the responsibility to actively implement the “Responsible Green Tick” program is not only a recognition of Bach Hoa XANH’s ongoing efforts in product quality control, but also a strong commitment to safeguarding consumer interests.

The “Responsible Green Tick” is a recognition label for products that meet strict standards regarding origin, production processes, and quality. Participating supermarkets and suppliers voluntarily disclose their production procedures, commit to product responsibility, and proactively prevent defective goods from entering the market. As a retail chain with over 2,100 supermarkets nationwide, Bach Hoa XANH has promptly deployed the program across its entire network, working closely with suppliers to ensure stringent monitoring from source to shelf. Products meeting the standards will be labeled with the “Responsible Green Tick” for easy consumer identification of safe goods.
A standout feature of the program is its immediate response monitoring mechanism. In the event of a violation, the retail chain will immediately suspend the sale of the product in question, requiring the supplier to report and resolve the issue within 24 hours. If the supplier fails to comply, the retail chain may cease purchasing the product and publicize the violation to consumers.

According to the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade, the “Responsible Green Tick” program, implemented since March 2024, has yielded positive results. Deputy Director Nguyen Nguyen Phuong emphasized that transparency is key in the supply chain—just one irresponsible link can impact the entire system, with consumers bearing the most serious consequences. Empowering distribution systems to take the lead in implementation helps accelerate the program’s progress, expand its scale, and make quality products more accessible to the public.
