From June 15 to August 15, consumers can bring their used toothbrushes to the nearest Bach Hoa Xanh store to exchange them for new Colgate toothbrushes at a discounted price of up to 40%.

This is the second year that the "Donate Old Toothbrushes – Build a Green Future" program has been jointly implemented by Bach Hoa Xanh and Colgate. The initiative aims not only to protect the environment but also to help consumers save money on quality oral care products at Bach Hoa Xanh.

The program carries a powerful and practical message: even a seemingly small item like an old toothbrush can play a vital role in protecting our planet. By collecting used toothbrushes for recycling, the program helps reduce plastic waste and raises community awareness about sustainable and eco-friendly consumption habits.

Since last year, Bach Hoa Xanh and Colgate have entered into a strategic partnership with the shared goal of creating solutions and motivation for the public to join hands in environmental protection.

A key highlight of the program is the convenience it offers: with over 2,100 supermarkets across the country, Bach Hoa Xanh makes it easy for consumers to participate without having to travel far. The program does not require the old toothbrushes to be purchased from Bach Hoa Xanh or from Colgate. All types of used toothbrushes are accepted, as long as the handle remains intact and the brush is not melted or broken.

This is also an excellent opportunity for families to bring their children along to the store, combining shopping with environmental education. Hosting the campaign at a major retail chain like Bach Hoa Xanh, which serves a large customer base, ensures wide outreach and encourages more people to take part.

Though small in size, millions of used toothbrushes are discarded into the environment each year, and it takes over 500 years for them to fully decompose.

A representative from Bach Hoa Xanh shared that the chain hopes to shift public perception around green living - emphasizing that small changes in daily habits, like recycling used batteries or old toothbrushes, can have a significant and widespread impact. With a nationwide presence of more than 2,100 stores, Bach Hoa Xanh is confident in its ability to spread this message and contribute to building a more sustainable and eco-conscious community.

As Vietnamese consumers, especially Gen Z, are becoming more concerned about climate change and sustainable living, the "Donate Old Toothbrushes – Build a Green Future" campaign by Bach Hoa Xanh and Colgate holds deeply meaningful environmental value.
