On November 29, 2024, The award ceremony for Vietnam's Top 100 Sustainable Businesses (CSI 2024), themed “Enterprises Thriving in the Green Era”. Organized by the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the ceremony was held in Hanoi with the collaboration of the Central Economic Commission, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) was honored to be named among the Top 100 Sustainable Companies (CSI 100 - Corporate Sustainability Index 100) in 2024. This recognition highlights MWG’s recent efforts on the journey toward sustainability.

Mr. Trieu Thanh Thinh, Head of Sustainability - ESG, represented Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) to receive the “Top 100 Sustainable Companies in Vietnam 2024.”

Beyond meeting the CSI criteria, MWG continuously enhances its activities with three ESG pillars (Environmental, Social, and Governance) while adhering to international practices in its sustainability journey. Recently, MWG has implemented various activities to reduce environmental impacts, such as plastic waste collection, engaging stakeholders to promote environmental protection, and integrating Internet of Things (IoT) solutions into operational management to improve efficiency and minimize environmental impacts, contributing actively to Vietnam's Net Zero 2050 goals. On the Social aspect, MWG has created a safe, healthy, and equitable workplace for employees while engaging in charitable activities to enhance community living standards. Notable programs include “A Million Full Meals - Together Overcoming Hardships” to support people impacted by Typhoon Yagi, the “Tam An Than Khang” journey, and the “AVAKids’ AVASmile Fund”. Regarding Governance, MWG adheres to strict information disclosure and operational transparency standards. The company has been named among the Top 10 Best Corporate Governance Companies in Vietnam by the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange for 2 consecutive years.

Being respected in the Top 100 CSI 2024 is a recognition of the dedication of over 50,000 employees who have consistently worked to create value for stakeholders. It also serves as a solid foundation for MWG to strive for even greater goals in its sustainability journey.

The Top 100 Sustainable Companies in Vietnam (CSI 100) was launched in 2016, organized by the VCCI, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor under the Government’s direction. This prestigious award is based on a rigorous evaluation system, regularly updated to align with national laws and international commitments.

In 2024, the CSI 100 ranking was determined by assessing 153 key indicators, focusing on effective corporate governance policies, compliance with environmental regulations, climate change mitigation efforts, and internal communication capabilities. Additionally, workforce and budget allocation, along with policies related to human resources, customer relations, and community engagement, were essential criteria in the evaluation process.
