Hanoi, December 5, 2025, The Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) has announced the Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam for 2025. Accordingly, Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) is proud to be honored among the Top 100 Sustainable Companies , recognizing the company’s continuous efforts on its sustainable development journey in recent years.

The Vietnam Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) is an initiative led by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), with the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) as the core body, in coordination with the Central Committee for Policies and Strategies, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, and the Ministry of Finance. Established in 2016, the CSI has served as a comprehensive tool for assessing corporate sustainability across four pillars: economic, environmental, social, and governance. It is also an important basis for evaluating responsible business practices in Vietnam.

Mr. Trieu Thanh Thinh, the person in charged of  ESG at MWG, represented the company to receive the “Top 100 Sustainable Companies in Vietnam 2025.”

In 2024, MWG implemented multiple initiatives to minimize environmental impact, including collecting and recycling plastic waste, engaging stakeholders in environmental protection communication, and promoting the adoption of technologies and energy-saving solutions, notably, the expansion of its rooftop solar power system to 643 stores and the deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) systems at 1,736 stores, helping optimize operations, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and mitigate environmental impacts, thereby contributing to Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 target.

In terms of social responsibility, MWG fosters a healthy and equitable working environment that supports employee development, while maintaining impactful charity programs such as  “Tet Of Sharing - Millions Of Warm Meals” and “Tet An Khang - Gui Ngan Binh An”, which help disadvantaged communities and reinforce the company’s commitment to social responsibility.

In terms of governance, MWG strictly adheres to disclosure and transparency standards, implements rigorous risk management, maintains internal auditing activities, and reports in accordance with international GRI standards. This solid and transparent governance system enables MWG to operate efficiently and uphold its responsibilities to shareholders and the community.

In addition to being listed again in the Top 100 Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam 2025 (CSI 2025), MWG has also earned recognition in several prestigious rankings, including the Top 08 Large-Cap Companies with the Best Corporate Governance 2025 (VLCA), the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2025 as recognized by Anphabe, and the Top 20 Companies in the Vietnam Sustainability Index (VNSI20) 2025. These achievements mark important milestones that further affirm MWG’s long-term sustainable development strategy.
