Submission date: 27/08/2024 Views: 67

On July 15, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) announced the list of constituent stocks of the Vietnam Sustainability Index (VNSI). MWG has once again affirmed its position by being honored for the second consecutive time among the top 20 companies with the best sustainability index in the market.

Evaluated based on numerous selective criteria related to environment, social, and governance, the VNSI is a prestigious measure to assess the sustainability level of listed companies. Being included in this list not only affirms MWG's position in the eyes of investors but also demonstrates the company's commitment to a sustainable future.

The VNSI was launched in July 2017 by HOSE in collaboration with the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the State Securities Commission of Vietnam to evaluate listed companies based on over 100 criteria following corporate governance principles and global standards for Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). This index has increasingly attracted the attention of investors, especially institutional investors and foreign funds in Vietnam.

This success is evidence of MWG's persistent efforts in implementing commitments to its sustainable development strategy, emphasizing transparency, responsibility, and creating shared value for the community. In recent years, MWG has continuously received positive assessments from experts and prestigious evaluation councils from awards in all three aspects: Environment, Society, and Governance. In August, MWG was also honored to be included in the Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards for three consecutive years.

MWG always integrates sustainable values into the company's development journey. Besides outstanding business results, MWG also allocates resources to community activities and climate change response. Programs promoting green living, reducing plastic waste, supporting social security, and charity are continuously deployed to spread the Sustainable Development Journey with stakeholders and join hands for a more sustainable world.
