On July 17, 2023, the HoChi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) officially announced the list of componentstocks for the Vietnam Sustainability Index (VNSI), in which MWG was honored tobe ranked among the Top 20 Vietnam Sustainability Index (VNSI) Best PerformingCompanies in the stock market for the first time. This evaluation wascomprehensively based on three key aspects: Environment (E), Social (S), andGovernance (G).
In Vietnam, the VietnamSustainability Index (VNSI) was launched in July 2017 by the Ho Chi Minh CityStock Exchange (HOSE) in cooperation with the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ)and the State Securities Commission of Vietnam. VNSI is used to rating listedcompanies based on over 100 criteria, following the Organization for EconomicCooperation and Development (OECD) principles on corporate governance and theGlobal Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards on sustainable developmentreporting.
HOSE established this program to promote responsibleinvestment activities of listed companies and measure the effectiveness ofinvestment in the stock market through the Sustainable Index to honor thoseenterprises demonstrating sustainability in their business operations. PwCVietnam Company Limited, an independent third party, conducted the evaluationresults, ensuring accuracy and high reliability.
The results demonstratethe consistent and relentless efforts of all members within MWG in the pastperiod to turn the company's Sustainable Development Commitments into reality,creating positive impacts on both the Environment and Society.
