With the desire to promote a green lifestyle and take action for the environment, Cocoon, in collaboration with An Khang Pharmacy, continues to implement the meaningful program “Collecting bottles – Living green every day with Cocoon” The program is organized at 10 collection points located at An Khang Pharmacies, aiming to reduce plastic waste, especially by minimizing the number of Cocoon bottles released into the environment.

Through collection and gift exchange activities, the program “Collecting bottles – Living green every day with Cocoon” encourages consumers to develop the habit of accumulating and reusing bottles instead of discarding them with household waste. Each returned bottle not only holds practical value but also represents a meaningful rebirth gift, contributing to a sustainable green lifestyle journey.

Project objectives:

• Reduce plastic waste: Over nearly four years, Cocoon has collected more than 74,000 used bottles.
• Reuse: Repurposing bottles as gifts for environmental programs.
• Recycle: Giving old bottles a “new life” through recycling

1. Program duration:
From May 8 to August 8, 2025.

2. How to exchange bottles for gifts:
Each customer will receive a gift (Cocoon canvas bag) when bringing used Cocoon bottles to the designated collection points.

• Step 1: Customers bring used Cocoon bottles to An Khang Pharmacies listed below.

• Step 2: Staff count the number of bottles and place them in the collection bin.

• Step 3: Gifts are handed to customers.

Gift redemption policy:
Gifts are given progressively (5 bottles = 1 tote bag; 10 bottles = 2 tote bags; and so on).

3. Guidelines for Bottle Return and Gift Redemption:

• Bottles must be cleaned thoroughly.

• Bottles without caps or those that are dented/distorted are accepted.

• Cut-open tubes/refill pouches are accepted.

• Bottles with faded or missing labels are accepted.

Used plastic bottles, if not properly collected and processed, can become a major source of environmental pollution. They silently contaminate soil, water sources, and the air, disrupting the natural balance of ecosystems. Moreover, as plastic breaks down into microplastics, these tiny particles enter the food chain, posing direct threats to the health of both humans and animals.

Let’s not allow old bottles to become a burden on the environment. Instead, let’s turn them into opportunities for renewal and spreading the message of green living. Cocoon and An Khang Pharmacy invite you to join hands in collecting and recycling used bottles - giving them a “new life” that is useful, sustainable, and meaningful.
