With the goal of raising public awareness about diabetes, Servier Vietnam has officially launched the campaign “Control HbA1c <7%”, in collaboration with An Khang Pharmacy—a nationwide GPP-certified pharmacy chain with hundreds of locations spanning from North to South Vietnam.
The “Control HbA1c <7%” campaign aims to educate the public, especially people living with diabetes, on the importance of maintaining stable blood sugar levels to help prevent serious complications such as stroke, cardiovascular disease, kidney failure, and limb amputation.

As part of the campaign, hundreds of An Khang Pharmacy stores across the country will strengthen diabetes-related communications and offer direct consultations. These efforts will help people better understand the disease and its risks, recognize the significance of the HbA1c index and the goal of keeping it below 7%, and receive guidance on proper medication use to improve treatment outcomes.
A key highlight of the campaign is the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the rollout of a specialized training program for An Khang’s pharmacists. This training aims to enhance their expertise in diabetes care and strengthen their ability to provide effective patient counseling.
