On December 4, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, The Gioi Di Dong Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) officially signed a cooperation agreement to launch the Payment Agent Model - marking its first official implementation in Vietnam under Decision No. 666/QĐ-TTGSNH2 issued by the State Bank of Vietnam.

Accordingly, VPBank will provide financial services to customers within the scope of the payment agent model, while Mobile World assumes the role of system integrator, connecting its platform with the bank’s infrastructure.

This special transaction model is particularly beneficial for consumers living and working in areas without access to bank branches, transaction offices, ATMs, or CDMs. Customers can conveniently perform essential banking services - such as deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers quickly and easily at over 3,000 stores nationwide.

In addition, cash withdrawal services at The Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh store chains are available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The withdrawal process is highly convenient - customers simply need to present their citizen ID card (CCCD) to withdraw cash from accounts at over 40 different banks.
