Published date: 14/07/2022

The program is implemented with the contribution of the Red Cross Society of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with Binh Chanh district through the support of An Khang Pharmacy. Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em - CEO of An Khang, said: "Today, we have taken the first step towards realizing our dream towards public health, providing dedicated medical services to people in remote areas that An Khang always cherished".

This journey of sowing health and sending happiness has departed in Binh Chanh district, HCMC.

With the coordination of the local council, this journey of free medical examination and distribution will be continued in 18 provinces and cities within 18 months. Not only showing interest in people's health, but "Journey to Tâm An Thân Khang" is also an activity to help raise awareness about health and contribute to protecting and improving the community's health.

At the opening ceremony, in addition to the medical team of the Club For Community Health, there were also representatives of 11 pharmaceutical companies accompanying the campaign.

Many places in Vietnam, especially in remote areas, often have limited medical facilities, and many people still have difficulties accessing medical examinations and treatment. Therefore, the organization of programs for the community partly helps people detect and treat diseases early while bringing humanity education to young people.

Early in the morning, people were present in large numbers at the ceremony venue to receive a free medical examination, treatment and medicine.

Come to support the event with volunteers from Phong Phu High School. Hong Mo, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, said: "We arrived very early, but we saw that An Khang's team were present to prepare. I find the program meaningful because it helps reduce some of the hospital bills for people in difficult circumstances."

Volunteers guide and support people in filling out the information and getting an order number.

At the event, people are given a general examination to diagnose the disease and receive an in-depth analysis, consultation and free medicine. In addition, people were also given gifts by An Khang pharmacy and some pharmaceutical companies for home health care and functional foods to supplement nutrition and strengthen resistance.

Health gifts are hand-delivered to people.

Ms Nga (81 years old, Tan Tuc) was encouraged by his daughter to go to the doctor, so he took a ride to the event by herself, happily sharing: "It's fun to be examined. I've never seen an event like this, so everyone is excited because they don't have to go far to get medical care."

Ms Nga shared that everyone was very supportive, wrote information for her and guided the way very carefully.

Huy Le (Zing.vn reporter) commented: "Most people are afraid to go to the hospital for a health check, partly because of the mentality of 'diagnosing the disease' and partly because of the fear of spending money. Therefore, I find An Khang's program very meaningful and practical because it has created conditions for health care for many people."

The Journey of Tam An Than Khang is a bridge to help people in remote areas easier to access health care.

Present on the market since 2002, An Khang pharmacy system has now had 500 stores nationwide. With the mission of taking care of Vietnamese people's health, An Khang always puts people's health first when launching a meaningful community campaign with many promotions, helping people to easily access health care products with clear origin with the most stable prices.
