On September 15, 2025, V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company and Mobile World Joint Stock Company (Thế Giới Di Động) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to expand the charging and battery swapping infrastructure for VinFast electric vehicles. Under this agreement, the two parties will install more than 1,000 EV charging points and over 1,000 battery swap cabinets at Thế Giới Di Động and Điện Máy Xanh stores nationwide by the end of 2026.

As part of the plan, in 2025 alone, 350 EV charging stations and 1,360 battery swap cabinets for electric motorbikes will be installed at Thế Giới Di Động outlets. Among these, 360 cabinets will be placed alongside EV charging stations, while 1,000 will be located independently. In 2026, the two companies will continue to add 1,000 more EV charging stations and 500 additional battery swap cabinets nationwide. Thế Giới Di Động will also provide installation, maintenance, and servicing for all V-Green charging stations and cabinets across the country.

The V-Green network of charging stations and battery swap cabinets will not only ensure greater convenience for VinFast EV owners but also enhance customer experience and increase foot traffic at Thế Giới Di Động and Điện Máy Xanh stores.

Currently, many Thế Giới Di Động outlets have already been integrated with V-Green charging stations, ready to serve VinFast car and electric motorbike owners. According to the plan, from November 1, 2025, the battery swap cabinet system for electric motorbikes at Thế Giới Di Động stores will officially go into operation, aligning with VinFast’s business roadmap for its battery-swapping two-wheeler models.

Currently, V-Green operates a nationwide network of over 150,000 charging ports for EVs and electric motorbikes. The company plans to invest in an additional 150,000 battery swap cabinets within the next three years, positioning Vietnam among the countries with the highest density of EV charging stations globally and a regional leader in green mobility infrastructure.
