On December 31, 2024, at the Ho Chi Minh City State Treasury headquarters, financial sector units held a press conference to announce the 2024 state budget revenue and expenditure results, along with financial and budgetary plans for 2025. The event gathered leaders from key municipal departments, including the City People’s Committee, the City People’s Council, the Party Committee Office, the Department of Finance, the Tax Department, and the Customs Department. Representatives from Thu Duc City, various districts, and 59 major tax-contributing businesses also attended.
At the conference, Mobile World Joint Stock Company (The Gioi Di Dong), a member of MWG Group, was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for its outstanding achievements in fulfilling tax obligations. The Gioi Di Dong was recognized among the companies contributing over VND 1,000 billion to the state budget in 2024. This acknowledgment reflects the company’s strong commitment to tax compliance and its contribution to the overall economic development of the nation.
