As a retail enterprise, MWG uses packaging daily to wrap and deliver goods to customers. However, we are fully aware of the negative environmental impact of plastic bags and continuously strive to implement more sustainable solutions.

MWG has adopted an ERP system to effectively manage plastic bag usage and set specific reduction targets for each retail chain. Currently, 100% of the packaging used at Thế Giới Di Động and Điện Máy XANH consists of eco-friendly PP plastic bags, which can be collected and recycled. At Bách Hóa XANH, we use biodegradable plastic bags, which naturally decompose within approximately six months.

Notably, since October 31, 2022, Bách Hóa Xanh stores in Ho Chi Minh City have officially introduced new reusable and eco-friendly bags, encouraging customers to reduce the use of non-degradable plastic bags and to take action together toward eliminating single-use plastic waste.
