These last few days, Typhoon Yagi has hit the northern provinces of Vietnam, causing severe damage to both lives and property. The storm has triggered landslides, flash floods, and inundation in many areas, severely impacting economic activities, infrastructure, and the lives of residents. More than ever, rescue efforts and disaster recovery require the timely support and solidarity of government agencies, businesses, and the community.

As a leading multi-sector retail corporation in Vietnam, MWG is committed to operating with integrity and humanity wherever we are present. With a network of chains including Thế Giới Di Động, Điện Máy Xanh, Bách Hóa Xanh, An Khang, AvaKids, and TopZone across the country, we have over a hundred stores directly affected in the storm and flood epicenters, and we are working hard to recover from the aftermath. Therefore, we understand the immense challenges and shortages the people in these areas are facing as they strive to rebuild their lives after the disasters.

Recognizing our profound social responsibility, MWG is donating 5 billion VND to the most economically challenged and heavily impacted provinces - Cao Bằng, Lào Cai, Yên Bái, Lạng Sơn, Tuyên Quang, and Phú Thọ. The donation will be made through the local branches of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support post-disaster reconstruction efforts and help residents restore their health, repair homes, and purchase essential items to return to normal life as soon as possible.
