In pursuit of sustainable development and minimizing environmental impact, MWG is steadily transitioning to renewable energy by installing rooftop solar power systems across its nationwide store network. 

By the end of 2024, MWG had implemented solar energy systems at 643 locations, reaching a total installed capacity of approximately 22 MWp, accounting for 12% of its total stores. This initiative helped the company reduce over 5,000 tons of CO2 emissions in 2024 alone, while also achieving 15-20% savings in electric costs. 

Currently, more than 2% of MWG's total energy consumption comes from renewable sources - an encouraging figure amid the global shift toward clean energy. 

Looking ahead to 2025, MWG plans to expand the project to an addtional 400 locations, in close collaboration with strategic partners. This is not only an efficient operational solution but also a significant step that reinforces MWG's commitment to intergrating business performance with environmental responsibility - delivery long-term value to both the community and environment.
