The integration of An Khang Pharmacy into the VNeID national e-identification platform marks a significant milestone in the digital transformation of healthcare services in Vietnam. This partnership enhances the convenience, safety, and smart access to pharmaceutical services for the Vietnamese people.

On May 28, the National Center for Resident Data Application Research (RAR Center) under the Police Department on Administrative Management of Social Order (C06) – Ministry of Public Security, in collaboration with An Khang Pharmacy, officially signed a cooperation agreement to implement the electronic prescription authentication service via the VNeID application. This allows citizens with national health insurance to access their electronic prescriptions directly on the VNeID platform, eliminating the need to carry paper prescriptions or wait in line at hospital pharmacies. Now, prescriptions can be automatically updated on the app immediately after a medical examination. Citizens can conveniently place orders for the prescribed medications through the VNeID app and choose either home delivery or in-store pickup at An Khang Pharmacies, with just a few taps on their mobile phones.

Every step of the process - from prescription issuance, verification, to purchasing medications - is now fully digitized on a secure national platform, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and data protection. This initiative is not merely a technological convenience, but a forward-thinking healthcare solution that saves time and costs while embodying strong human-centered values - especially for elderly patients or those living in areas with limited access to medical services.

By connecting its pharmacy network to VNeID, An Khang not only provides verified, high-quality pharmaceutical products to the public but also contributes to the national roadmap for digital healthcare transformation, helping improve people’s health and quality of life in a more accessible, efficient manner.
