Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam and Bách hóa XANH have officially launched the project “Joining Hands to Green Vietnam’s Forests – 1,000 Green Sprouts for the Planet,” marking the beginning of a three-year journey to re-green the country.

On June 2, 2025, Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam - distributor of brands such as Romano, Aiken, Enchanteur, Maxkleen, Gervenne, and Carrie Junior - signed a strategic partnership with Bách hóa XANH to implement the Joining Hands to Green Vietnam’s Forests” initiative. This heartfelt green project aims to restore forests, protect the environment, and promote sustainable living within the community.

The project was born in response to Vietnam’s alarming loss of natural forest, which has led to serious consequences including climate change, water shortages, soil erosion, and biodiversity loss. In light of these challenges, the two companies are pioneering a reforestation effort, beginning with 1,000 young trees to rejuvenate bare lands and degraded hillsides, contributing to the revival of Vietnam’s precious forest ecosystems.

Rather than being a one-time event, the initiative will span the next three years, with new planting locations and expanded activities across the country. Through this long-term vision, the project aims to build a sustainable foundation for nature conservation and encourage community engagement - especially from younger generations - in environmental stewardship.

The signing ceremony on June 2, 2025, marked an important milestone for both companies in spreading green values to millions of consumers. A representative from Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam stated: "Business growth must go hand in hand with sustainable development. Planting trees today is a priceless investment for tomorrow’s planet - where our children and future generations will live and thrive."

The project’s first planting event will take place on June 5, 2025 World Environment Day - at the Nui Ong Nature Reserve in Binh Thuan Province. Nearly 40 volunteers from both Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam and Bách hóa XANH will participate in planting 1,000 saplings. Each tree represents a green commitment and a step forward in protecting nature.

More than just a planting campaign, the project also calls on the entire community to start small: plant a tree, reduce single - use plastics, recycle waste, and practice responsible consumption. Every green choice today contributes to a cleaner, healthier future for the next generation.

A representative from Bách hóa XANH shared: "We are not just a retail chain meeting daily essential needs, but also a bridge that brings green living closer to every individual. This project is an opportunity for Bách hóa XANH to demonstrate our commitment to the environment - and more importantly, to the country’s future."

A representative of Bách Hóa Xanh shared: This project is an opportunity for Bách Hóa Xanh to demonstrate a strong commitment to the environment"

Joining Hands to Green Vietnam’s Forests is more than a tree planting initiative - it’s a journey of responsibility, cooperation, and hope. With the collaboration of businesses, communities, and nature, this reforestation journey is being written through persistent, meaningful actions.

The 1,000 trees planted today are just the beginning. Over the next three years, they will take root, grow strong, and join thousands of others to form lush, sustainable forests for generations to come.
