According to the recently released list of Vietnam's largest private taxpayers, Mobile World Group (MWG) has been ranked 26th in the PRIVATE 100, thanks to its significant business efforts and contributions to the state budget.

PRIVATE 100 is a list of Vietnam's largest private taxpayers compiled by CafeF to recognize the important role of the private sector in the economy, honoring and spreading the spirit of social service among businesses.

On August 15, 2024, Mobile World Group is honored to be ranked 26th among the Private 100 Vietnamese Largest Taxpayers, and is also among the Top 9 in the Retail Sector.

2023 was a year marked by many challenges for the retail market. Despite the difficulties caused by slower economic growth and declining purchasing power, MWG still achieved impressive business results with a net revenue of over VND 118 trillion in 2023. For 2024, MWG sets a target revenue of VND 125,000 billion and after-tax profit of VND 2,400 billion, representing an increase of 5% and 14 times, respectively, compared to the same period last year. As of the end of the second quarter of 2024, MWG recorded net revenue of VND 65,621 billion, up 16% year-on-year and completing 52% of the annual plan.

Besides business goals, MWG also focuses on sustainable development. The Group has been actively deploying technological solutions to minimize environmental impact, while encouraging customers and partners to participate in environmental protection activities, actively accompanying Vietnam's Net Zero target.
