MWG Honored To Have 3 Major Brands In The Top 100 Most Valuable Brands In Vietnam

On October 11, 2024, Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) was honored to have three of its brands – thegioididong.com, Dien May XANH, and Bach hoa XANH – made it to the Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam for 2024, as published by Brand Finance, a globally recognized organization specializing in brand strategy and valuation.

Brand Finance releases the ranking annually after a thorough data collection, evaluation, and analysis of brand-building activities from the beginning of the year. Brand value is determined by the Brand Strength Index (BSI) and the brand’s overall market impact. BSI measures brand investment, brand equity, and brand performance.

Each brand is assigned a BSI score out of 100, with the highest rating being AAA+, similar to a credit rating. MWG brands received a AAA rating in the Top 100 Most Valuable Brands 2024, with the following rankings: thegioididong.com ranked 36th, Dien may XANH ranked 39th, and Bach hoa XANH ranked 42nd. Notably, Điện Máy XANH stood out with a brand value of $358 million and an impressive BSI score of 81.29.

Since 2015, MWG's brands have consistently been featured in Brand Finance's prestigious rankings, affirming the group's position and value in domestic and international markets. In the first eight months of 2024, thegioididong.com and Dien may XANH reported a total revenue of nearly VND 58.9 trillion, an increase of 7% YoY. Meanwhile, Bach hoa XANH achieved a cumulative revenue of VND 26.7 trillion, marking an impressive 38% YoY growth.

Representatives of the three brands— thegioididong.com, Dien may XANH, and Bach hoa XANH—received certificates as part of the Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2024.

Recently, MWG was also honored among the Top 3 Non-Financial Large Cap Companies for Investor Relations (IR) by financial institutions at the 2024 IR Awards.
