Mobile World Group (MWG) once again affirms its position as Vietnam’s No.1 retailer, earning a spot in the Top 100 of Fortune SEA 500 list, as recently announced by Fortune.

The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking honors companies with outstanding revenue performance and consistent, sustainable growth over the years. Notably, MWG ranks 64th this year - an impressive 13-place jump from its 77th position in 2024 - outpacing many of the region’s leading names. This marks the second consecutive year that MWG has been included in this prestigious list and makes it the only Vietnamese retailer in the Top 100. The result is a testament to MWG’s robust momentum and long-term resilience in an increasingly competitive global landscape.

The ranking is based on financial performance in fiscal year 2024 - an important milestone in MWG’s recovery and growth journey. Despite challenges in the consumer market, the company delivered outstanding results, with net revenue reaching VND 134.341 trillion, fulfilling 107% of its 2024 target and marking a 14% increase over 2023. Notably, after-tax profit reached VND 3.733 trillion - an extraordinary 22-fold increase year-over-year, fulfilling 156% of the annual profit target.

With these exceptional results, MWG has not only reaffirmed its scale and operational efficiency in Vietnam but also continued to lead in sustainable business practices. In 2024, the Group was recognized in numerous prestigious rankings, including: Top 20 Companies with the best Sustainability Index in Vietnam (VNSI 20),  Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards in Vietnam (CSA 50), and  Top 100 Sustainable Development Companies in Vietnam (CSI 100). These achievements stem from MWG’s relentless efforts to integrate sustainability into its business model, contribute to a circular economy, and support Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 commitment.
